Venus
Venus
Venus is named after the Roman goddess Venus the god of love and beauty . It is also called the evening star.
Venus's base colour is light yellow.Its secondery colours are light brown, dark brown and dark yellow.The brown is in strips.
Venus is the hottest planet, its temperature is 470 c . Venus shines lie a star because of its thick atmosphere . The pressure on the surface of venus is ninty five times greater than earth pressure.
Venus is a little bit bigger than earth. The time it takes for Venus to spin around is 243 earth days. Venus's year takes 224 days.

how did the popcorn dance
Have you ever wondered how to make popcorn dance?Well my class mates and I did an experiment there were a lot of steps.Their aren't a lot of ingredients .Its very fun and easy.
First get a glass of water three quarters full.Secondly put a droplet of food colouring in the glass of water.Thirdly you pour some vinegar in,the skins of the kernals came off but nothing happened.After that we put some baking soda in the cup the kernals started floating up and down then bbbles appeared on the kernals each time a bubble popped the kernals would sink.
First we thought this would never work after we got given a glass of water and we were thinking what the heck.We got given the kernals Douglas put them in .Next we got the vinegar which Jacob did , we looked in amazment as the skins fell off the kernals .Lastly we put some baking soda in the cup which I did we were surprised that the popcorn started dancing .They were floating up and down.
We did the experiment so we could write an explanation about something interesting.Also so we could do something fun for writing.Lastly so we could put our thinking caps on to get all the information and put it in a great explanation.
When we put the food colouring in the cup of water it turned dark green.When we put the vinegar in their was a yellow twist.After when we put the baking soda in there was a white powerdery puff of smoke.
It was a great experiment it was fun and exciting,next I hope I get to do another experiment.
